A BETTER PERSPECTIVE ABOUT ME

Kristyl Neho, of Ngāpuhi and Ngāti Kahungunu descent, is an actor, director, producer, writer, facilitator and entrepreneur. She founded Maia Dreams six years ago, which has transitioned into a charitable trust dedicated to empowering individuals of all ages and backgrounds to discover self-confidence and fulfill their potential. Kristyl is also the creator of Confident Me, a transformative program celebrating its 15th year. Through Confident Me, she has had the privilege of working with 12,500 students aged 5 to 17 years old and 3,000 adults, making a lasting impact across communities.

Expanding her reach nationally and internationally, Kristyl has launched numerous online programs, like Confident Me Teens, Confident Mini Me, Confident Me parents, Confident Me Kids, Confident Me Rangatahi serving more people and extending the impact of her transformative approach to personal growth through digital platforms.

Kristyl, alongside her brother started up Wahanui Productions and are producing her one-woman solo show that is touring around New Zealand. A graduate of Toi Whakaari New Zealand Drama School and a certified NLP Practitioner, Kristyl has enriched her expertise through experiences nationally and abroad before returning to Hawke's Bay. Recognized as one of Kiwibank's local heroes in 2024, she balances her roles in the arts and business with her commitment to family, embodying resilience and leadership both on and off the stage.
